There are four categories for the awards - each is open to dogs of either sex who have competed between 1st January 2025 and 31st December 2025. The categories are: • Rally Dog Challenge Award - Levels 1 and/or 2. For those of you in Levels 1 & 2, we want to nurture both those that are just starting their rally journey, and give inspiration to those of you whose dogs have challenges • Rally Dog Advance Award - Levels 3 and/or 4. Aimed to encourage the competitors of mid-levels, those in Levels 3 & 4. • Rally Dog Outstanding Award - Levels 5 and/or 6. This award acknowledges the Level 5 & 6 dogs and their handlers for their achievements. For those dogs who have reached the age of 7 years that are eligible for the Veteran Class – • Veteran Rally Dog Award – Open to dogs who are 7 years or over and are eligible to compete in the veteran class The awards are based upon the average of the 3 highest course scores (totals without bonus) and the average time for the corresponding scores. If there is a draw, the bonus will decide the winner by averaging the relevant three bonus scores. Entry forms will be available mid-December on the Facebook group “KC Rally news” (facebook.com/groups/rallyonews/) and on the Rallynews website. Rules • Dog and handler must have competed in Kennel Club Rally between 1st January 2025 and 31st December 2025 and can only enter one category for which they are eligible during that period. • Dog and handler must have competed in the category for which they are entering. • Qualifying scores, bonus points and course time must have been published on the result page of the Rallynews website. https://www.rallynews.co.uk/rally_results.html A dog that has won previously any category cannot enter the same category again.
